Team France Sarl is our local sales office that serves the French market. For the GKD Business Unit metal fabrics and the Business Unit Mediamesh® (transparent media façades) Team France, in the office in La Roque d’ Anthéron, takes care of the French building projects, which includes consultancy of architects, system development and order processing with the owners and general contractors. Team France is the service provider for all issues arising with regard to the use of architectural meshes inside and outside the building.

GKD LATAM is a manufacturing subsidiary that focuses on the targeted expansion of our market presence across Latin America. After over 25 years of active sales activity in Chile, we opened a state-of-the-art production site for our three business units in Santiago de Chile in 2012. This enables us to offer our loyal customers from the fields of architecture, process belt technology and filter media new prospects for cooperation.
We see great potential for industrial mesh in the local edible oil production sector as well as in the chemical industry. The leading role the process belts business unit currently enjoys in Chile can be further strengthened by producing locally. The main fields of application for our process belts here are sludge dewatering, woodworking, fruit juice production, the copper industry and mining. With the development and production of both new and established mesh types, architectural mesh takes advantage of the numerous opportunities such as stadium construction, modern building solar control and facade cladding. The relocation of our architectural spiral mesh production from Spain to Chile provides great impetus here.

Here we develop and manufacture special belts for challenging manufacturing processes in the mining, chemical, paper, food and oil industries. Alongside the Republic of South Africa and the African continent south of the Sahara, other specific markets also include Australia, South America, the USA and Russia.
In addition to this core competence, GKD AFRICA offers more services from our wide range of solutions on premises covering an area of 14,000 square metres. Since 2012, GKD INDIA, a Joint Venture between the Kufferath and Khaitan families, now serves our three business areas in the Indian subcontinent region. For almost ten years before that, we have been active in the Indian market with our sales unit. With the establishment of our state-of-the-art production facilitiy in Jaipur, we have followed our customers from key industries into new markets where they now enjoy the same degree of support as in Europe.
GKD industrial mesh is a sought-after partner here for sophisticated solid-liquid separation processes in the chemical industry as well as for soot particulate filtration in the automotive sector. Rescreenable Neverleak plate filtration elements for edible oil filtration are further points of focus at the new location. GKD process belts supplies filter belts for vacuum belt filters, dryer belts and press meshes for a multitude of market requirements. GKD metal fabrics serves the local architecture market with a selected range of products geared towards the specific requirements of Indian customers and serves them on turnkey basis including system design and installation.

GKD CHINA has already undergone some eventful developments. Back in 2000 we established ourselves with a sales branch in China in order to tap the potential of this important growth market. In 2004 we expanded this subsidiary to become a production location. The local added value in our product solutions increased continuously and led us to relocate our manufacturing facilities as a whole to considerably larger production premises in Qufu in the province of Shandong in 2017.
GKD industrial meshes are processed in China as sophisticated filter media and systems for the automotive, synthetics, polymer, and food industries, environmental technology, and the aerospace sector. GKD process belts are produced locally for the Chinese fruit juice industry. With the production of selected products and comprehensive service from maintenance to repair and finishing, we provide our customers in China with a reliable basis and local market access to our cutting-edge technology from Germany. Thanks to the spectacular opera building of the National Grand Theater in Beijing and the stands of the Formula 1 race track in Shanghai, which were completed at the same time, GKD architectural metal fabrics became known to a broad audience in China. Since then, innumerable architectural projects both large and small have been realized and transparent [Mediamesh] media façades installed.
